The Instagram account idontgiveaseat, which is devoted to cataloguing seat patterns from around the world (and from which I sourced some of the images for the above paintings)
myhotelcarpet, the aforementioned Instagram account that documents hotel carpets. This one is particularly transfixing; I think it looks like psychedelic bacon.
Not technically related to seat patterns but I did find this article about BART’s questionable future to be very alarming and sad…somebody do something!!!!!
I loved this, especially the part about riding a bus and reading poetry offering similar things. Thank you!
